Please join me in welcoming Emily to the growing Team at The Neighbourhood Clinic!
Emily is a naturopathic doctor and naturopathic doula. She has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Queen’s University and a Doctor of Naturopathy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Emily also has additional doula training with the Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors (APND) (http://www.apnd.org). The treatments she uses with her patients include
acupuncture, nutritional and lifestyle counseling, as well as herbal and nutritional supplements. The goal of Emily’s practice is to provide natural healthcare to help you and your family be happy, healthy, and thriving! She will educate and empower you to make the health choices that will have lifelong benefits for you and your children. The support of a naturopath can lead to optimal health outcomes, from preconception, through pregnancy and birth, and throughout childhood.
Through her own health journey, Emily has learned the importance of individualized treatment and healing the whole person. It was through natural approaches to digestive wellness and the support of a naturopathic doctor that she was able to heal from celiac disease. In her practice, she now recommends treatments and supports patients with celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and many other digestive concerns. She believes strongly that your overall health begins with a healthy digestive system.
Emily is registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO) (https://www.collegeofnaturopaths.on.ca), and is a professional member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) (http://oand.org), and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) (http://www.cand.ca). Emily looks forward to sharing her skills, compassionate approach and positive energy to help address your health concerns and support you in establishing your wellness goals so you can live your life fully.
