March 14th: COVID-19 As it relates to the operation of The Neighbourhood Clinic.

TNC Covid 19

In this period of uncertainty, we would like to address the current public health situation surrounding COVID-19 as it relates to the operation of The Neighbourhood Clinic.

As anyone would expect, we already have a strict cleaning regiment in place, however, we are taking extra steps to ensure the safety of both our patients and practitioners.

We are taking EXTRA MEASURES to disinfect all surfaces (treatment tables, headrests, armrests, door knobs, etc.) and all equipment (laser system, ultrasound, POS payment machine, etc.).  We have an ample supply of hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes and gloves in every treatment room, bathroom and the reception area. As always, linens are washed after every use.

But as you know, and as advised by the CDC and WHO, your best course of defence is THOROUGH HAND WASHING.

IN ADDITION TO APPLYING HAND SANITIZER, you may also want to wash your hands thoroughly upon arrival to the clinic and before you leave the clinic. We have lots of soap and paper towels! (and toilet paper……)

The only hope to slow down the virus is based on community behaviour. Only by working collectively we can hope to change the trajectory of this pandemic. If you are sick, have traveled to a foreign destination in the past 14 days or have been in contact with anyone with the virus, please stay home. We will waive all cancellation fees if this is the case.

We know there are a lot of our patients that may still require our services. We remain committed to helping the community and will remain open at this time, but will follow all guidelines and recommendations set forth by the ministry of health for any future coarse of action.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
