Neuromuscular Integration and Structural Alignment (NISA) is a deep-tissue fascial technique that is used to address postural concerns or dysfunction.

Fascia is a type of fibrous connective tissue that surrounds muscles, organs and joints. NISA focuses on stretching and loosening this tissue to improve posture and restore proper body alignment. This results in pain relief, improved breathing and an increase in movement.

NISA was developed in the 1980’s by Jean Loving. NISA’s techniques are based in SOMA bodywork but with a gentler approach aimed at solving the problems related to body structure.
