Farideh Farahani graduated from the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TSTCM) and is Registered with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO). Fari has been practicing in multidisciplinary clinics since graduation and is dedicated to assisting her patients in achieving their health goals. She is a caring, knowledgeable & talented practitioner, mother, author, researcher, lecturer and educator.

With a background in general medicine, clinical and anatomical pathology, Fari brings to her acupuncture treatments more than 15 years of patient care experience and extensive knowledge of the human body’s systems; how they work ideally and where they can become deficient. Using the theories and practices of Chinese Medicine the systems/functions that are under-active and the systems/functions that are over-active are brought into a place of balance working towards optimal health using gentle and precise acupuncture treatments.

She seeks to identify and address the roots of diseases, instead of dong a superficial symptomatic treatment. She treats all her patients by considering them as a whole being and uses an individualized treatment plan based on their mental well-being, emotional status and physical characteristics. She uses a combination of different modalities such as Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxa, Tui-Na massage and Gua-Sha to meet the patients’ different needs and support their healing.
